Masseria Pistola was built in the late 1700s and the main Cumersa, gable-roofed house, was the first to be built.  The Casolare della sposa (bridal cottage) with its chapel dated 1766 and its trulli were second and not far behind the pagliari and ‘trulli’ that make up the masseriola, little masseria.  There are a total of 10 ensuites, 3 kitchens, and various living and dining spaces, 2 pools, tennis court and over 2 acres of terraced gardens leading down to a grasss amphitheatre and farm shop.  The main Cumersa, the Masseriola, and the Casolare della Sposa are all rented to one single group.
